The Rules Commission launches the “Info Centre”

With the help of the FIDE Technical Department and Mrs Sonja Johnson, Operational Effectiveness Officer, the Rules Commission has launched the “Info Centre”.

The “Info Centre” is a comprehensive tool, accessible from the home page, allowing any visitor to conduct a complete research on the rules, Regulations and contents created by the Rule Commission.

By just typing one word (i.e. “draw”), the tool will give access to all articles of the Laws of Chess quoting it, columns where there is such an item and any other content on this website.

The Rules Commission hopes this tool will help all players, arbiters, organisers or just simple visitors to improve their knowledge of the Laws of Chess and other relevant Regulations and to find what they are looking for in the Rules.
